Most patients need 6 to 8 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for 80 to 95 percent permanent hair reduction. Is laser treatment safe for darker skin tones? Yes — Cynosure® laser settings are calibrated to each patient's individual skin tone across all Fitzpatrick skin types.
